When your flowers arrive, they will be in a delivery bag with water, ensuring their freshness. Here are some essential tips to help you make the most of your beautiful blooms:

  1. Day 1: You can leave your flowers in the delivery bag for up to one day. This ensures they remain hydrated during transit.
  2. Vase Preparation: Prepare a clean vase for your flowers. It’s crucial to eliminate any bacteria that can cause flowers to wilt prematurely. Make sure the vase is thoroughly clean before use.
  3. Fill with Fresh Water: Fill the vase with fresh, cold water, filling it up to just over half the height of the vase. Clean water is vital for your flowers’ longevity.
  4. Stem Preparation: Before placing the flowers in the vase, trim about 2-3 centimeters from the bottom of the stems at a 45-degree angle. This diagonal cut increases the surface area for water absorption.
  5. Cool Location: Find a suitable spot for your vase of flowers. Freshwater helps the stems absorb water more effectively, and a cool environment will keep the flowers looking fresh for longer.
  6. Water Change: To extend the life of your flowers, change the water every other day or as needed. This prevents the growth of bacteria and keeps the water clean and oxygenated.
  7. Avoid Direct Sunlight and Wind: Place your vase of flowers away from direct sunlight and drafty areas. Too much sun or wind can cause the flowers to wilt prematurely.

Care Instructions:

Our Christmas Floral Arrangements are created with fresh flowers and foliage which have been placed in biodegradable florist’s foam in the container. This foam needs to be kept permanently wet in order to ensure the longevity and beauty of your design. Please note that this special biodegradable foam will take moisture from the flowers and foliage if it is allowed to dry out, therefore it is imperative that it be kept humid at all times. Hence, every 2 to 3 days, over a sink, carefully pour water onto the foam and then let the water run off completely. We recommend a protective base be placed underneath the arrangement to avoid any water damage to your furniture. To maintain the freshness of your design, remove as and when any dead or dying flowers.

  • All flowers, foliage, berries, baubles and decorations are for decorative purposes only.
  • Some flowers and plants can be harmful if consumed.
  • Care should be taken to keep your arrangement out of the reach of children and pets.
  • Please take care when positioning your arrangement within your home or office, as leakages and dampness from the water source can cause damage to delicate surfaces. Always place the base onto a protective mat.
